Obituary For Rev. Solomon Matthew, Jr.

Solomon Matthews Jr., age 75, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born on March 12, 1949, Solomon dedicated his life to his family and community, embodying the roles of a loving husband, father, and grandfather with utmost devotion. The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects during viewings scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday, October 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Blount Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A funeral service celebrating Solomon's life will follow on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:00 am also at New Light Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Louisiana National Cemetery.
