Orey Julius Robinson, Jr. was born on April 17, 1966 to the union of the late, Betty Ree McClinton Thompson and Orey Robinson, Sr. in Independence, Louisiana. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at his home in Greensburg, Louisiana.

Orey joined the Tickfaw Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend Fred Scott. Orey served as a member of the choir and remained a member of the church until his passing.

Orey was educated in the St. Helena Parish School District. He was a proud graduate of Helena High School (Indians) class of 1986.

Today is Orey's Red Carpet Event. Orey's zest for life was fashion. His dream was to re day have a Fashion Show with models from all ethnicities, shapes, and sizes to model his. rious fashions. He never met a stranger. He was always very warm and friendly and greeted everyone with an endearing smile and the words, "Hey, how are you doing?" Orey will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his Hatfield's Country Store family in Easleyville.

Orey leaves to cherish his memories: Three (3) Aunts: Ruther Lee Brumfield and Sarah Self (Clyde) both of Greensburg, Louisiana and Fannie M. McKnight of Ethel, Louisiana. One great aunt, Johnnie D. Powell of Liberty, Mississippi. Three (3) bonus families, Mina J. Travis family, Al Travis family and the Ladd Blades family. Twelve (12) cousins, along with a host of classmates, co-workers, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty McClinton Thompson and Orey Robinson, Sr., one sister - Anna Robinson. A stepfather, Rev. John Thompson. Maternal grandparents, Anna Ruth and Jehue McClinton. Paternal grandparents, Julia Moore and Steve Robinson, one uncle, James John McClinton. Three aunts - Naomi M. Pounds, Emma M. Carroll, and Thelma M. Collins. Five uncles - Lee Allen Pounds, Sr., Rev. Willie Carroll, Rev. Floyd McKnight, Vergil Brumfield, and Mack Charles Carroll. One cousin, Veronica L. Pounds.
