A retired homemaker and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge. She was 85, born March 10, 1938, in Lakeland, LA. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Gregory Winns; brother, Michael White and three grandchildren, Kristian Smith, Kristopher Winns and Tiffany Winns. She was proceeded in death by her mother Emily Jackson Toussaint; daughter Dana Smith and son Rory Winns. Visiting at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 9455 Elm Grove Garden Dr., on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. until a celebration of life service at 11a.m. conducted by Rev. Kevin Cowan, pastor. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaffer Family Funeral Home.
