Aundre’ was born to the late Alex Louis, Jr and Cora Ann Scott on January 3, 1962. He graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, LA. Aundre’ then attended Southern University and A&M college, but later he joined the United States Army in 1986. While in the Army Aundre’ became a part of the military police. In 1995 he transitioned to the US Army Reserve and station home and at this time he joined East Baton Rouge Sheriff Dept until his death march 22, 2023.

In1984, Aundre’ met and fell in love with Valeria Burton from Greensburg La, and they were married on June 19, 1988. They were blessed with 3 children together

1 son Donovan (Darlisha) Burton, Sr. from Greensburg La; 2 daughters Danethia Saunders from Baton Rouge La, Devona (Terry, Sr.) Hampton of Baton Rouge, La.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Cora Scott Green, his wife and children; 4 grandsons Donovan Burton, Jr and Tristen Burton of Greensburg La, Terry Hampton Jr. of Baton Rouge La. Cordell Saunders, Jr. of Baton Rouge, La. 2 granddaughters Cha'Miya Burton of Greensburg, La and Aleena Hampton Baton Rouge La. 3 sisters Arielle Green, Shannon Charles, Michelle Beloney. 1 brother Michael Porter, and host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Aundre’ was proceeded in death his father Alex Louis Jr., his grandparents, and his uncle, Charles Scott

Honorary pallbearers will be Donovan Burton Sr, Donovan Burton, Jr., Tristen Burton, Cordell Saunders Jr, Terry Hampton, Sr., and Terry Hampton, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation that will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Schaffer Family Funeral Home, 15990 Hwy 77 Rosedale, Louisiana 70772 from 10am-12pm. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1pm at Louisiana National Cemetery 303 W. Mt. Pleasant Rd. Zachary, Louisiana 70791.
